With yet another cover of Australian Gourmet Traveller on the stands for October, William also has the October cover of UK Olive Magazine, and will also feature in the Italian Magazine, Gioia, in January '08...

HOYTS has been busy promoting its most luxurious venture yet- the "La Premiere" cinematic experience. Kristine was able to channel her love of comfort food and of watching a great movie to style the shots for the national advertising campaign.

Raising the Bar- for Sydney

With the stouch between the Sydney City Council and the NSW Government heating up over the liquor laws, we are getting right behind the small bar movement in Sydney! A small group of designers and art directors have come up with the BEST idea to garner support by putting pressure on our MPs. They created a site that proposes the changes by shouting your local MP "a drink". Lets get the word out and go to http://www.raisethebar.org.au/. Just imagine- your Saturday afternoon glass of wine with tapas, a friend and the harbour- with no barn of a venue, no pokies, no larger louts..... quick, send another drink!

MYER gets fresh with David Mitchener

When MYER Melbourne launched its brand new range of bedding, linens and towels, David Mitchener was the first choice to capture the campaign. Despite the temperamental Melbourne weather he managed to highlight the cosy and fresh elements of the product, creating the sort of mood that makes you want to jump in the bath only so you can wrap yourself in the luxurious towel afterwards!

Nicole Kidman in Vanity Fair

Only Patrick Demarchelier could convince Nicole to don a saucy sailors cap which our Megan Morton sourced for the shoot in Sydney for Vanity Fair USA. While we in Australia are still eagerly awaiting our airfreight copies, Megan tells us that there will be lots of quirky props and more surprises in the full shoot! I know we mentioned this shoot before as a teaser - but it was just too fabulous not to bring up again!

More overseas campaigns for Scotty Needham

In the urban military community of San Clemente, California Scotty and his team requisitioned a cool old 50s laundromat, positioned pro-surfer Andy Irons on the lino, and created a grungy yet highly commercial campaign for Billabong USA. Check out the guy doing his laundry in the background!

Ruby Slipper flourishes with Vanessa's touch

Vanessa Levis loved every moment of capturing this new florist's fresh, beautiful flowers and quirky tid-bits (who doesn't love a pair of printed gumboots?!) She was able to work with the natural light that permeates the store to further enhance the beauty of the freesias, goddess lillies, forget-me-nots, and jasmine. Set in a quaint little cottage in Sydney's eastern suburbs we especially love the cute name- Ruby Slipper.
