The old adage goes that one should 'never work with animals or children' but obviously it was not heeded by David Mitchener. With an inspiring ability to use the lens to translate joyful innocence into touching imagery, MYER turned to David again to shoot the latest kids Summer Brand campaign. Dave's parenting skills came in handy when wrangling the five under-5s - and don't they just look so angelic and well-behaved?

Barbie is no challenge for Megan Morton & Peter Alexander
Although hesitant to admit it, Barbie (with her sky-high legs and impossible proportions) was always a bit of an idol for the young Megan Morton. It was no surprise to anyone then that Meg jumped at the chance to style Peter Alexander's latest Barbie-inspired catalogue. She loved the challenge of designing and commissioning the construction of her very own life-sized Barbie box. The puzzle became complete when Peter slotted in his porcelain-like, peroxide-wigged models and they went to work recreating the famous dolls absent-minded, motionless qualities.

Kristine Duran-Thiessen & Will Meppem create some Symmetry
We all love a bit of a gourmet diversion on a long-haul road trip. Subaru's 'Symmetry' Magazine tapped into this and took us on a foodie journey through Victoria. Kristine was commissioned to create some recipes inspired by Victoria's Daylesford and Hepburn Springs regions. William also got on board and bought out the rich & sumptuous qualities of Kristine's creations and styling with his flawless lighting. Call us biased, but we think when two of our talent collaborate that the result is always delectable!

Katalyst collaborates with Scott Needham
It's not the first time these two have worked together and by all accounts it won't be the last. Both masters in their respective trades world-renowned music producer, Katalyst, and photographer, Scotty Needham clearly have a mutual respect that transcends into introspective and insightful imagery. We think the most recent press images captured by Scott not only have a cool & moody vibe but also also give us wannabe-muso's a glimpse into the private universe of the man behind the Katalyst machine, Ashley Anderson.

Andy Harris has FLIPPed
With great excitement and joy for our tastebuds, we are proud to announce that Australia's most charming creator of delicious ideas and recipes Andy Harris has joined the FLIPP team. Originally from the UK, Andy has also worked in the USA and was tempted to Australia to fire up the creative juices of Australian Gourmet Traveller 4 years ago. After many successful years as a writer, stylist, editor and creative director in publishing, Andy is now finally available to the commercial advertising market. He will maintain an "editor at large" role with Gourmet Traveller and Wine - however at FLIPP we are just loving that we have the opportunity to give everyone a chance to nab a piece of this inspiring talent. Yes he can cook, yes he is handsome, and yes he is awesomely talented - but it is his fabulous international stories that we are complete suckers for. Jump onto our website, check out his work and bio and be prepared to be impressed!

Vanessa Levis shoots the chef
Vanessa's collaboration with the highly regarded chef and owner of Bourke St Bakery in Surry Hills captured Paul Allam in an introspective mood. The job of a baker can be quite lonely and is mostly conducted in the early mornings. Vanessa shot Paul at his bakery right on dawn, and the bakery, lighting and environment beautifully reflect the pensive nature of both the man and the occupation. This was Vanessa's first submission into the prestigious SMH "Shoot The Chef" competition, and we are incredibly proud that she was chosen to be a finalist!
